Our Parish Priest (Pastor)
Rev. Fr. Leon Houessou joined St Theresa's minor seminary, Oke Are, Ibadan from 1992 to 1998 for his spiritual year and in 1998 he went to All Saints Major Seminary, Uhiele Ekpoma.
Ordained a deacon on 16th June 2007.
On Saturday 8th December 2008 he was ordained to the priesthood by His Eminence Anthony Cardinal Okogie at St Leo's Catholic Church, Ikeja.
As a Priest, he has worked in various Parishes within the Archdiocese of Lagos:
- St. Agnes Maryland - Associate Priest
- Ss Philip and James - Associate Priest
- Regina Caeli, Bogije - Parish Priest
- St Leo, Ikoga-Zebe - Parish Priest
- St. Augustine College of Education Akoka - Chaplain from 2018 – 2021
- St Gerald Gbagada- Parish Priest 2021-2022.
- Catholic Church of The Assumption, Igbo-Elerin - Parish Priest 2022 - till date
